(no subject)
On Tuesday, I saw a pair of bald eagles, near the river. People were pulling over to look at them; they were unmistakable with the flash of white head and heavy grace. Sadly, no pictures, and I suspect they were just passing through--a mated pair looking for a good place to nest, and following the waterways up to Vermont. But very cool to see (and on my birthday, no less).
