Kites

Yesterday I decided that it would be cool to make kites: kites made of painted silk and light wood. For some reason, this idea really caught my imagination. I don't know why exactly.

I've only ever owned those kites you get at the five-and-dime, the plastic ones that break the first time they nose-dive.
