Oh yez

I went swimming again today. These last few precious days of summer--what a treat. It's difficult to leave the river in the morning, even though I KNOW I have to go to work, and get on with my day. The sun is out, it's warm, everything is all bright and glittery and there are so many birds! Today I saw a kingfisher and several unidentified ducks, but there are also dragonflies everywhere, and other birds skimming the surface of the water. The river is still pretty warm, relatively speaking, so it's the most amazing gift to be there, even if it's just for 45 minutes.
