A light snow continued all day yesterday and made the driving a little tricky; later the wind picked up and it felt bitterly cold out there. Still, I managed to get out and take a walk downtown with Granger, then later go to morris practice down in Amherst. Getting sick of winter though. Fortunately, Imbolc is nearly here and that may not change the weather, but it's like the beginning of the light at the beginning of the the tunnel.

The last two days have been kind of quiet. Right now, I'm thinking about how I got interviewed for an article about arts in the local economy and how I told the reporter that I hope to leave my day job in about five years, and how I've forgotten to mention this to my boss this week. I'm not worried that she will freak out, I just want her to not read this in a random article where I quote future plans with abandon. Whoops. The article won't be out until probably next week sometime, and who knows how much she will use of my actual commentary, so I have to speak to Ann tomorrow. How many other people do you know that give five years notice?
