last week=no fun
Feb. 23rd, 2004 05:57 pmTom's back went out the first day of his school vacation, which was no fun for him, and wasn't too great for me, either, since he couldn't drive, so I spent the majority of my week negotiating with my parents about when the child was coming to their house and when he was leaving, and how many hours I could actually put in at work before he needed to go. In the end, I had to go to the store on my studio day to make up all the hours I'd missed. Which means I'm now a week behind where I'd hoped I'd be, and it's only February. This doesn't please me.
I had enough down time this weekend, though, to make up for some of the craziness last week, which was a help. And I got into the first craft fair I applied to as well, which will run in July. And I'm almost done with the tax stuff from my studio. But no creative work was done, only bookwork.
I ordered some coal to Newcastle, er, I mean beads and stuff. You might think that counting all those beastly beads for inventory would've made me swear it off, but au contraire, I realized that there were certain things I was running low on. I gotta get cracking and use up all the rest of those beads this year, or else...
