Twelve days or more of Christmas

My first day of vacation. Plans were to go to my parents' for supper tonight, and in fact that's where we are now and where I am updating my entry. But a surprise happened today when Alexis came by late this afternoon. So I've had a short visit with Alexis and she is currently at our house taking a nap, while we are at my parents'. It's good to see her, and she looks like her new life is agreeing with her quite well.

After an adventure filled journey to Millers Falls, through fog, and erratic drivers and pizza orders that were messed up, we are finally here and ready to have supper and celebrate another of the twelve days of Christmas...our family likes to draw these things out, why should it all be over in one day? And Granger doesn't realize it's an option to be up before dawn on Christmas, hurray!

And now it's time to go and have the reheated pizza, and talk about the Return of the King, which my parents went to see today and I went to see on Monday.
