Trips and such

This is probably my last update before leaving the computer behind...a week and a half without lj, however will I survive? (Maybe I'll post from home, but then again...)

First, it's off to the Gem & Mineral Show on Friday, then on Saturday morning, I leave for NY, to buy things for the bookstore, at the International Gift Show, which, btw, is HUGE. Then, back for 24 hours, then it's off to the Cape for a craft show, with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. Back late Monday night, the 22nd. Not that I have nearly enough stuff made for the show, as usual,thanks to major crises going down at the end of July. *sigh*

I never have enough stock. This year, I said, it's going to be DIFFERENT.

Right.

Anyhoo, I took a very long "lunch" break today, to go with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] to Brattleboro, with errands to run (bridal shower gift) and Indian food to eat (not as good as usual, darn.) While there, we also met [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and bought clove cigarettes at the Indian grocery store, one of which we all promptly shared. I think the last time I had a clove cigarette, or any cigarette at all, was 1989 (can't stand regular cigarettes anyway).

Clearly, the high points of my life these days are pathetic, I know that.
